Job Scope:
- Develop and maintain documentation related to Halal assurance and food safety management systems.
- Ensure all records are up-to-date and comply with regulatory and certification requirements.
- Monitor and ensure a hygienic working environment throughout the premises in accordance with Halal, GMP, and food safety standards.
- Conduct routine inspections and recommend corrective actions where necessary.
- Verify and review production records to ensure compliance with quality and Halal standards.
- Inspect incoming raw materials for conformity to specifications and Halal requirements.
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of Halal, GMP and HACCP systems.
- Support in the preparation and coordination of internal, customer and external audits.
- Work closely with the company team to ensure readiness for Halal, GMP and HACCP audits.
- Participate in audits and follow up on corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) as required.
- Carry out any additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned by the Manager to support departmental goals and regulatory compliance.
Requirement:
- Possess at least a Diploma or equivalent qualification in Halal Management, Food Technology, Food Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year working experience in the food manufacturing or processing industry.
- Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and documentation software.
- Eager to learn and stay updated with current practices in Halal compliance and food safety standards.
- Demonstrates strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to multi-task and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Capable of handling ad-hoc tasks and responding to operational needs as required.
- Must be able to work full-time and commit to the responsibilities of the position.
