Ensure that all products, processes, and operations comply with Malaysian halal standards (e.g. MS1500, MS2634).
Manage and coordinate the halal certification process, including applications, renewals, and liaison with JAKIM or relevant State Islamic Authorities (JAIN).
Serve as the primary contact for all halal-related matters between the company and certification bodies.
Conduct internal halal audits and assist during external inspections or audits.
Maintain and update all halal-related documentation and records, including supplier halal certificates and audit reports.
Organize and deliver halal training sessions and awareness programs to relevant staff.
Collaborate with QC, R&D, Procurement, and Production teams to ensure end-to-end halal compliance across the supply chain.
Monitor and verify the halal status of raw materials, processing aids, and packaging materials.
Ensure proper segregation and handling of halal and non-halal items to prevent contamination.
Stay updated with current halal regulations, guidelines, and industry best practices.

Job Requirements:

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Halal Management, Food Science, Food Technology, Shariah Studies, or related fields.
Completion of Halal Executive Certification (e.g., from JAKIM-recognized institutions) is preferred.
Minimum 1–2 years of working experience in halal assurance, certification, or a related compliance role.
Fresh graduates with relevant qualifications and strong interest in halal compliance are also encouraged to apply.
Good understanding of halal standards (MS1500, MS2634) and the Malaysian halal certification process.
Familiar with Halal Assurance System (HAS) and Manual Prosedur Pensijilan Halal Malaysia (MPPHM).
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills.
Good interpersonal and communication skills (Bahasa Malaysia and English).
Able to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
