We are looking for a Forwarding Operation Clerk to be based at our port site cabin office. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate data entry, handling documentation, and ensuring smooth administrative coordination between the site and office.
Job Scope / Responsibilities:
- Perform data entry of shipment and logistics details into internal software systems.
- Handle inbound and outbound documents, such as delivery orders, port receipts, and customs forms.
- Maintain proper filing and recordkeeping of all forwarding documents (hardcopy and digital).
- Coordinate with drivers, forwarding staffs to maintain status updates of cargo or containers.
- Received and assembled basic shipping-related documents delivered from office (e.g., checklist, dispatch forms, customs documents0 ).
- Support general administrative tasks such as photocopying, scanning, or submitting documents to port/customs if required.
- Assist the Forwarding/Operations team in daily office routines.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum SPM / Diploma or equivalent.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
- Able to handle routine documentation and office tasks independently.
- Good attention to detail and filing discipline.
- Computer software literate
- Preferably 1–2 years experience in forwarding, shipping, or admin role (fresh graduates also encouraged to apply).
- Willing to be based at site office environment.
