Responsibilities:
- Design and create floral arrangements for various occasions, including weddings, birthdays, and holidays.
- Assist with the selection and care of flowers and plants in the store.
- Process orders for delivery or pickup, including packaging and labeling arrangements.
- Attend to customer inquiries and assist with choosing appropriate flowers and arrangements for their needs.
- Participate in inventory management and restocking of supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with the senior florist and other team members to plan and execute special events and projects.
- Perform basic administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, processing payments, and maintaining customer records.
- Be knowledgeable in all product names, pricing, and types of arrangements.
- Prepare decoration materials for floral arrangements.
- Order flowers for upcoming orders.
Requirements
- Completion of a floristry or floral design program is preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of doing customized and freestyle flower designs, plant arrangement, and any other floral design.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good physical dexterity and stamina for long periods of standing, bending, and carrying heavy objects.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
