Job Overview
We are looking for a Finance Compliance Specialist to join our team in Sunway Velocity. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing, validating, and ensuring the accuracy of financial documents in compliance with company policies and audit requirements. This position requires strong attention to detail, adaptability, and the ability to work effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. Fluency in Mandarin and English is essential, as you will be working with global teams and handling Mandarin-based documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and validate financial documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Identify potential issues such as policy violations, duplicate claims, and data inconsistencies.
- Ensure all processes adhere to internal control requirements and audit standards.
- Maintain accurate records and provide support during internal/external audits.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams to resolve queries effectively.
- Adapt to workflow changes, new tools, and evolving policies.
- Contribute to a positive team culture by being collaborative, respectful, and supportive.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Finance/Accounting (Finance Shared Service Center experience preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in document review.
- Good knowledge of internal controls, compliance, and audit processes.
- Ability to detect errors, inconsistencies, and policy violations.
- Adaptable and able to handle workload fluctuations efficiently.
- Fast learner with the ability to apply SOPs effectively.
- Team-oriented, proactive, and positive working attitude.
- Able to perform under pressure in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in Mandarin (mandatory due to system and documentation requirements).
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Comfortable working night shift (4:30 PM – 1:30 AM) and collaborating with global stakeholders.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
