Job Descriptions :
- Financial Reporting : Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Perform budget vs. actual analysis. Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing.
- Budgeting & Forecasting : Support the preparation of annual budgets. Update financial forecasts based on actual performance and market trends.
- Accounts Management : Supervise accounts payable and accounts receivable functions. Ensure accuracy and completeness of general ledger postings. Prepare and process non-trade invoices. Monitor cash flow and perform bank reconciliations.
- Compliance & Internal Controls : Ensure compliance with accounting standards (MFRS, IFRS). Assist with tax filings (corporate tax, SST, etc.).Support internal and external audit processes.
- Cost Control & Financial Analysis : Conduct variance, trend, and profitability analyses. Provide financial insights to support business decision-making.
- Team Supervision & Collaboration : Supervise and guide junior finance/accounting staff. Liaise with other departments (HR, procurement, operations) on financial matters. Support accounting system upgrades or new system implementations.
- Treasury & Banking : Manage daily cash positions and banking relationship. Prepare and upload bank payment files for approval and execution. Monitor loans, interest expenses, and credit facilities.
Skills & Qualifications :
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and strong analytical skills.
- Strong Excel skills for financial modeling, reconciliation, and reporting.
- Proficiency in AutoCount accounting software (preferred).
- Good communication and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of Malaysian tax laws and financial regulations.
Experience :
3 - 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a retail environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM8,500.00 per month
