Temple Tree Resort, Langkawi is currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager for our restaurant. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the restaurant and pool operations, driving revenue generation, increasing online ratings, implementing innovative promotions, and maintaining exceptional service standards.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Operational Management: Ensure smooth daily operations, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and maintaining high-quality standards of food and service.
2. Revenue Generation: Develop strategies and initiatives to drive revenue growth, increase footfall, and enhance average check through upsell techniques.
3. Monitor sales performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement effective solutions.
4. Online Rating Enhancement: Proactively influence online review platforms and social media channels to gain positive customer reviews. Implement strategies to increase the overall online rating and reputation of the restaurant.
5. Innovative Promotions and Programming: Develop and execute creative and innovative promotional campaigns to attract new customers, retain existing ones, and generate excitement around the offerings.
6. Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging content and implement unique programming events.
7. Service Standards: Ensure exceptional service standards are consistently maintained throughout the restaurant. Train and motivate the front-of-house team to provide excellent customer service, handle guest complaints effectively, exceed guest expectations, have a good product knowledge.
8. Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise restaurant staff, including servers, hosts, and bartenders. Foster a positive and productive work environment, encourage teamwork, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.
9. Financial Management: Monitor and control costs, including labor, inventory, and operational expenses. Collaborate with the resort manager to develop budgets, analyze financial reports, and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
10. Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and food handling guidelines.
11. Conduct regular inspections to maintain cleanliness, hygiene, maintenance and repair is done in a timely manner and a safe environment for both the team and guests.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
· Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role in an a la carte restaurant environment.
· In-depth knowledge of restaurant operations, including front-of-house, back-of-house, and product knowledge.
· Demonstrated track record in driving revenue growth and achieving financial targets.
· Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team in English, Bahasa and preferably Mandarin.
· Creativity and innovation in developing promotions, events, and programming to attract new and retain existing customers.
· Ability to analyze financial reports, control costs, and maximize profitability.
· Proficiency in restaurant management software and point-of-sale systems.
· Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance procedures.
