Electrician

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrician to handle electrical installations, maintenance, and repair works for residential and commercial fit-out projects. The ideal candidate must have strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team on-site.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, outlets, lighting systems, and related equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
• Perform inspection and testing of electrical systems and troubleshoot issues as needed.
• Collaborate with project teams, including contractors, designers, and other trades, to coordinate installation timelines.
• Install and configure new lighting fixtures, power points, switchboards, and other electrical components.
• Keep accurate records of work completed, materials used, and hours worked.
• Respond to maintenance requests and perform timely repairs as needed.
• Adhere to workplace health and safety policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Valid Electrician certification or license (e.g., PW4, PW2, or equivalent).
• Proven experience as an electrician in construction or fit-out projects.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, safety practices, and testing equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Physically fit and comfortable working on-site in various environments.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Own transport is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with smart home systems, LED lighting, or energy-efficient installations.
• Familiar with Malaysian electrical standards (e.g., Suruhanjaya Tenaga regulations).
• CIDB green card holder.
