Diploma Student Internship (Accounting & Business Administration)

Job Description

a. Administrative Role:
Assist in organizing and maintaining files, records, and documents.

• Coordinate scheduling, meeting coordination, and general office tasks.
• Handle incoming calls, respond to emails, and manage inquiries professionally.
• Aid in inventory management and procurement processes
• To do packing for event team before event day
• To clean up event items after event
• To handle Shopee account
• Able to multitask to support sales & marketing team and management team

Accounting Role:

• Assist in accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Maintain financial records with accurate data entry.
• Aid in reconciling bank statements and verifying financial transactions.
• Support in preparing financial reports and presentations.
• Monitor cash flow and maintain cash controls, including petty cash.
• Ensure proper processing and recording of supplier invoices and purchase orders.
• Process bank deposits and update accounting records in the system and Excel.
• To ensure AR is up to date.

Job Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in accounting or equivalent.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel and Word), Cloud online systems such as Google Drive and OneDrive.
• Proficiency in accounting software (Refrens is an added advantage).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Comfortable working paperless as all our systems are online.
• Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing in English, and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Having your own transport is an added advantage.

Job Types: Internship, Student job
Contract length: 3-6 months

Pay: RM500.00 per month
