Responsibilities
- Monitor and update shipment status via phone call and email
- Cargo tracing with transshipment port & port of discharge agents
- Updates on latest flight schedule or information
- Handle disputes or complaints with escalation to relevant parties for investigation
- Verify shipment information for accounting purposes
- Maintain close communication with customers in order processing, management and fulfillment
- Liaise with suppliers pertaining to customer enquiries by phone, email, fax and web in a timely manner
- Work closely with sales team, operations and warehouse or logistic support to provide timely delivery schedule and inventory control
- Conduct data entry, maintain and complete updated records / data in related systems
- To ensure that all required documentations are accurately prepared / processed for every shipment
- To ensure accurate reports are drawn timely to meet internal & external needs
- To provide general clerical, administrative coordinate and perform general administrative and operational support functions
- Maintain systematic filing system, safe keeping of important documents and ensure confidentiality
- Other ad-hoc task as assigned by superior / management from time to time
