What you'll be doing:
- Responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues or concerns in a timely manner
- Coordinating freight and cargo forwarding logistics to ensure efficient and on-time deliveries
- Handling all day-to-day operational activities, import and export shipments from delivery order, booking, documentation, transportation, custom brokerage until invoicing, and completion of shipment files.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to customer accounts and shipments
- Supporting the wider team with ad-hoc administrative and operational tasks as required
What we're looking for:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer service or logistics role
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with customers from diverse backgrounds
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically to provide tailored solutions
- Proficient in using relevant software and technology to track shipments and manage customer information
- Knowledge of the shipping and logistics industry, including common terminology and processes
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
