Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and passionate Dietician to join our healthcare team. The Dietician will be responsible for assessing patient nutritional needs, creating customized meal plans, providing dietary counseling, and working closely with other healthcare professionals to support patients in achieving their health and wellness goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients’ dietary and nutritional needs through consultations, medical history reviews, and health assessments.
- Develop personalized nutrition plans based on medical conditions, lifestyle, and preferences.
- Provide education and counseling on healthy eating habits, special diets, and nutrition-related health concerns.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of nutrition plans, adjusting as needed.
- Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Keep up-to-date with current nutrition research, trends, and regulations.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
- Conduct group workshops or health talks when required.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.
- Professional certification or license as a Dietician/Nutritionist (as required by local regulations).
- Minimum 1 years of experience in clinical, hospital, or wellness settings (new graduates considered if highly motivated).
- Strong communication, counseling, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to translate complex nutritional concepts into practical advice.
- Knowledge of dietary needs for specific medical conditions (e.g., diabetes, kidney disease, cardiovascular health).
Preferred Skills
- Experience in meal planning for special populations (e.g., elderly, pediatric, athletes).
- Familiarity with digital nutrition tracking tools and software.
- Public speaking or workshop facilitation skills.
