Responsible for creating menu, planning, preparing, and executing a variety of authentic Chinese dishes, ensuring high standards of taste, presentation, and food safety. The chef must have deep knowledge of Chinese culinary techniques, regional flavors, and traditional cooking methods such as stir-frying, steaming, roasting, and braising.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Chinese Chef or Specialty Chef in a hotel, restaurant, or catering environment.
- Strong knowledge of Chinese cooking techniques, sauces, marinades, and regional specialties.
- Ability to work with woks, steamers, roast ovens, and other specialized Chinese kitchen equipment.
- Good leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.
- High level of creativity and passion for food presentation.
- Knowledge of kitchen safety, sanitation, and food handling practices.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
