Job Scope:
- Prepare and cook assigned dishes according to daily production schedules (hot food, cold dishes, side items, etc.)
- Ensure food quality and consistency based on standard recipes and portioning
- Adhere strictly to safety and sanitation regulations in the kitchen and maintain the highest standard of hygiene and keeping the kitchen organized.
- Handle food prep tasks including cutting, marinating, portioning (mise en place) and any duties assigned.
- Initiate requisition and ensure the section has adequate food stocks.
- Ensure that all preparation methods, cooking and portioning are according to the company standards set and menu specifications.
- Be on-site for live stations when needed
- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and timely meal production, especially during peak hours
- Stock check and management to reduce wastage and keeping COGS in control
Job Requirement:
- Experience in a commercial kitchen, central kitchen, or catering environment
- Able to handle basic cooking tasks independently with a strong sense of hygiene and responsibility
- Have creativity for menu.
- Have passion in preparing banquet, buffet
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
