Business Operations Specialist (Remote) – Japanese & English
(Must be fluent in both Japanese and English languages)
The Team
The Asia Investment Support Operations (AISO) team serves as the primary point of contact for end-to-end Internal Funding Programs enablement across Asia, including ANZ, ASEAN, Japan, and India. The AISO team provides comprehensive guidance and support for funding processes, programs, and tools, assisting sellers with work scopes, program identification, and partner onboarding. The team also handles project orchestration, proactive triaging, and holds regular office hours to ensure smooth processing and field enablement.
The Role
The Business Operations Specialist will be responsible for providing comprehensive operational support to ensure smooth functioning of business processes. This involves coordinating activities, managing queries, and driving operational excellence across various departments.
Responsibilities:
- Support Japan and ANZ stakeholders, working across all regions within ASIA (depending on capacity/back up)?
- Coordinate activities relating to funded programs and nominations
- Field enablement & query management
- Proactive monitoring and operational excellence
- Landing enhancements and driving Field adoption
- Governance and business updates
- Day to day operational request execution
- Mailbox management
- Multitask and prioritize workloads
- Enablement – attend all UAT sessions, provide feedback and be the SME. Conduct new releases / demo sessions to field stakeholders
- The primary goal is to execute tasks efficiently and effectively, ensuring that operations are carried out as planned
Experience required:
- Prerequisite: Proficiency in Japanese (both verbal and written) and English (at least C1 level)
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field preferred
- 2-3 years in business operations roles
- Experience in operations executing specific tasks to maintain daily operations, must be a doer and be able to get things done quickly
- Execution of Tasks: Processing transactions, handling requests, and ensuring that services are delivered efficiently.
- Able to work effectively with minimal supervision
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work with management at every level
- Problem solving abilities that adapt to variety of situations
- Strong attention to detail, data analysis, and analytical skills?
- Microsoft Office Proficiency: PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerApps?
