We are seeking a highly driven and strategic Business Development Manager to lead growth initiatives in the water treatment industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth through innovative strategies and partnerships. This role requires a results-oriented professional with proven experience in sales, client management, and market development.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve revenue targets and market expansion.
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities in the water treatment industry.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, stakeholders, and industry partners.
- Prepare and deliver proposals, presentations, and tender submissions.
- Collaborate with the technical and operations teams to align client requirements with company solutions.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Negotiate contracts and ensure compliance with company policies and client requirements.
- Represent the company at networking events, trade shows, and industry forums.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and progress reports to management.
- Mentor and guide junior team members to build a strong business development culture.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or client management (preferably in the water treatment or engineering industry).
- Strong knowledge of tendering processes, project bidding, and contract negotiations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin (spoken & written) is required.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building client portfolios.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and business opportunities.

Pay: RM9,000.00 - RM13,000.00 per month
