Reports to: Business Development Director Department: Sales & Business Development
Job Summary:
The Business Development Executive supports the company’s growth by acquiring new customers, coordinating sales activities, and assisting in structuring tailored business proposals for clients, especially MNCs. This role offers exposure to commercial strategy, marketing material preparation, and cross-functional coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and approach potential new customers through research, networking, and referrals
- Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers across corporate and industrial sectors
- Support the Business Development Director in preparing tailored proposals and business models
- Support tender submissions, pricing negotiations, and contract finalization
- Coordinate sample requests, trial runs, and audit preparations with internal departments
- Assist in sales-related tasks including quotations, follow-ups, and project tracking
- Assist in developing sales materials, presentations, and marketing collaterals
- Liaise with internal teams (design, QA, production) to meet customer requirements
- Learn and apply solution-based selling techniques in customer engagements
- Provide market feedback and competitor insights to improve offerings
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field
- No prior experience required; training will be provided
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word);
- Willingness to learn and grow in a customer-facing role
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM4,800.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
