Brand & Creative Marketing Lead
Batik Boutique is seeking a visionary Brand & Creative Marketing Lead to drive the company’s design and marketing strategy across B2C, B2B, ecommerce, and retail channels. This hybrid role blends creative leadership with strategic marketing execution, managing campaigns end-to-end while mentoring a talented in-house team.
You will lead the development of compelling visuals, marketing campaigns, and performance-driven strategies, ensuring that every touchpoint reflects our brand mission and generates measurable growth.
This is a leadership role that works closely with the CEO and other designated team members to shape Batik Boutique’s voice, aesthetic, and expansion as a purpose-driven, globally scalable brand.
Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Campaign Planning
- Plan and execute annual, quarterly, and monthly brand campaigns across all channels (B2C, B2B, ecommerce, retail).
- Own and maintain the marketing calendar in collaboration with CEO and other designated parties.
- Lead campaign concepting, art direction, messaging and execution aligned with commercial targets.
2. Creative Direction
- Oversee all creative output across digital and print: ads, email marketing, social media, packaging, VM, B2B proposals, etc.
- Ensure design work reflects brand identity, product value, and customer experience priorities.
- Approve layouts, campaign visuals, product graphics, and photography styling.
- Maintain and update brand guidelines semi-annually and lead brand rollout internally.
3. Performance-Driven Marketing
- Work with internal team and/or external agency to optimize Meta, Google, and other platforms Ads.
- Ensure creative aligns with ROAS goals and ecommerce conversion strategies.
- Oversee email marketing design, content, segmentation, and automation (Omnisend).
4. Ecommerce & Digital Content
- Support Shopify and website design alignment: homepage, product pages, collection landing pages.
- Coordinate blog strategy and SEO content (in collaboration with agency or in-house).
- Guide and support SM activities/postings such as IG Reels, TikTok, and UGC-driven content ideation and scheduling.
5. B2B & Product Design Oversight
- Support corporate gift catalog design, customization mockups, and visual proposals.
- Collaborate with production/design team for print trends and gifting product innovation.
- Coordinate shoot direction for both product and campaign lifestyle content.
6. Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Manage and develop the design and marketing team
- Plan and assign tasks, ensure timely delivery and creative quality control.
- Lead onboarding and upskilling sessions on brand, tools, and campaign execution.
- Conduct quarterly performance reviews and guide professional development.
- Support cross-department collaboration (Retail, Sales, Production, Ecommerce).
Requirements:
- 7+ years in creative direction, design, or brand marketing (fashion, lifestyle, or social enterprise preferred)
- Proven ability to lead multi-functional campaigns from concept to execution
- Strong understanding of ecommerce flows, social media trends, and performance marketing principles
- Hands-on experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and collaboration tools (Google Drive, ClickUp, Trello)
- Basic understanding of SEO, email marketing, Meta Ads (strategy level)
- Strong leadership, mentorship, and cross-functional communication skills
- High attention to detail, aesthetics, and commercial sense

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
