Position Summary
The Bellman is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service by assisting with luggage handling, providing information about hotel facilities, and ensuring a warm welcome and fond farewell. This position plays a key role in creating the first and last impression for guests, while upholding the hotel’s service standards and brand image.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Services
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Assist guests with unloading and loading luggage from vehicles.
- Escort guests to their rooms, explain room features, and ensure their comfort.
- Deliver messages, packages, or amenities promptly to guest rooms.
- Provide accurate information on hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
Luggage & Transportation
6. Safely handle and store guest luggage in the bell desk or luggage room.
7. Maintain proper tagging and recording of stored luggage.
8. Assist with arranging transportation services such as taxis, private transfers, or shuttle buses.
9. Coordinate with concierge for guest requests and transportation arrangements.
Lobby & Public Area Management
10. Keep the lobby area neat, clean, and welcoming at all times.
11. Monitor lobby traffic and assist in crowd control during peak periods.
12. Offer assistance to elderly, disabled, or special-needs guests.
Coordination & Communication
13. Work closely with Front Desk, Concierge, and Security to ensure smooth guest service flow.
14. Report any lost & found items immediately to the Front Office for proper logging.
15. Notify relevant departments of any maintenance or housekeeping issues noticed.
Other Duties
16. Assist in emergencies (e.g., evacuation procedures) according to hotel SOPs.
17. Participate in training programs to improve service skills.
18. Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by management.
Job Types: Permanent, Contract
Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,800.00 per month

- STM/STPM (Preferred)

- Front Office: 1 year (Preferred)
