Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in setting up and rehearsing pre-opening banquet procedures and training materials.
- Supervise and lead Banquet Captains and Waiters during event setup, service, and teardown.
- Coordinate with the Kitchen, AV, and Events teams to ensure event requirements are met.
- Monitor quality of service, table settings, and guest interaction throughout the event.
- Handle guest feedback and service recovery promptly.
- Ensure equipment, linen, and service materials are prepared and accounted for.
- Brief team members before events and conduct post-event debriefs for improvement.
- Assist in team scheduling and daily manpower allocation.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3–4 years banquet experience in hotels or large event venues.
- Supervisory experience in high-volume banquet or event operations.
- Strong leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work flexible hours, weekends, and public holidays.
- Pre-opening experience is an advantage.
