We’re looking for a friendly and energetic Bakery Assistant to join our team! This is a fun role where you’ll be part of both the retail and production side of the bakery — greeting customers with a smile, keeping the shop neat, and assisting our bakers when needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service at the counter and ensure a welcoming environment.
- Handle cashier duties (POS system, cash & card payments).
- Assist with daily cleaning and shop upkeep to maintain hygiene standards.
- Help bakers with light production tasks (packing, preparing ingredients, organizing trays).
- Monitor and track bakery inventory (stock counts, restocking supplies, alerting when items are low).
- Carry out closing duties — cleaning, organizing, and preparing the shop for the next day.
- Support the team in any other tasks to ensure smooth bakery operations.
