Responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire "procure-to-pay" cycle for contract renewals, ensuring full compliance with the bank's standard policies and procedures at every stage.
- Conduct robust Request for Quotation (RFQ) processes, including in-depth price analysis and meticulous Statement of Work (SOW)/requirements analysis, to secure optimal terms and conditions for the bank.
- Proactively identify opportunities for cost savings and implement strategic initiatives to mitigate cost increases, including exploring and vetting alternative vendors or solutions.
- Lead all negotiations with suppliers to achieve favorable pricing, terms, and service levels that align with departmental budget constraints and ambitious savings targets.
- Cultivate and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key internal stakeholders and external vendors, fostering mutually beneficial long-term partnerships.
- Consolidate and analyze monthly reports on bank-wide usage for specific IT items, identifying key trends and providing actionable insights into usage and purchase patterns.
- Develop and implement rigorous tracking and reporting frameworks to monitor procurement performance, identify potential challenges, and ensure the consistent achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Collaborate effectively with internal and external auditors, providing necessary data and support for regular operational tasks and sustainability initiatives.
- Provide clear, concise, and professional written correspondence to support informed internal decision-making processes related to IT procurement and contract management.
- Verify and manage invoices with precision, ensuring accuracy and timely processing to avoid disruptions.
- Identify, track, and report on SMS cost savings, contributing directly to the bank's financial objectives.
Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in IT procurement, contract management, or a similar role, preferably within the financial services industry or a large, complex organization.
- Proven track record of successful negotiations with IT vendors and a strong understanding of IT licensing models (software, SaaS, hardware, etc.).
