- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in compliance with MFRS and group reporting standards.
- Support the Finance Controller in managing annual budgeting and rolling forecasts.
- Ensure timely and accurate closing of accounts, general ledger reconciliation, and financial analysis.
- Maintain internal controls and financial procedures in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Support compliance with Malaysian tax regulations, SST, and statutory filings with authorities (e.g., LHDN, SSM).
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and other consultants during audits and reviews.
- Collaborate with other departments to support financial processes and reporting.
- Provide support in ERP/SQL accounting system enhancements, implementations, or upgrades.
- Supervise junior finance staff where applicable and ensure consistent process improvement.

- Handle staff expense claims, travel reimbursements, and related documentation.

- Monitor cash flow, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Coordinate with HR for payroll changes, employee benefits, and new hires.
- Support internal and external audits with required documentation.
- Perform variance analysis and report key findings to management.
- Recommend and implement improvements in financial procedures.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in a finance or accounting role (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with ERP systems and SQL also HR2000
