Job responsibilities:-
- Financial Reporting:
- Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of all financial reporting and disclosures.
- Analyze financial results, trends, and key performance indicators for management review and decision-making.
- Monitoring Execution of Procedures:
- Develop, implement, and monitor compliance with financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Ensure the finance team adheres to best practices in day-to-day accounting operations.
- Review and improve workflows to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and risk management.
- Team Guidance & Support:
- Lead, coach, and provide guidance to the finance team to ensure high performance and professional development.
- Review team deliverables to maintain quality and consistency across all finance functions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support project budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives.
- Additional Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with auditors, tax agents, and other stakeholders during audits and statutory filings.
- Support treasury functions including cash flow management, banking relationships, and funding strategies.
- Assist management with strategic financial planning, business performance analysis, and decision support
- Any other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Minimum 4–6 years of relevant working experience in accounting or finance roles.
- At least 1–2 years of experience in a supervisory or team lead capacity.
- Strong background in financial reporting, audit preparation, and internal controls.
- Experience in budget monitoring, treasury support, or costing is a plus.
- Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent. Candidates with ACCA/CPA have added advantage.
- Familiar with requirements of MFRS and ERP system.
- Familiar with construction industry and project accounting.
- Good command of English language, both written and spoken including report writing skills.
- Excellent internal communication & management skills.
- Solid planning & organizational skills including attention to detail & multi-tasking skills.
- Ability to lead the team to achieve required outcome.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
