About the role
Hilti (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is looking for a passionate and results-driven Account Manager to join our dynamic sales team. This full-time role, based in Johor Bahru, offers an exciting opportunity to drive business growth while fostering strong relationships with our valued customers.
What you'll be doing
- Engage with a minimum of 6 customers daily at various construction sites to build strong relationships and provide on-the-ground support.
- Conduct at least one impactful product demonstration each day to showcase solutions and drive customer value
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within your assigned territory
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery and exceptional customer service
- Participate in sales planning and strategy development to contribute to the overall growth of the business
- Maintain accurate sales records and provide regular performance reports
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and Hilti's product and service offerings
What we're looking for
- Minimum 3 years of sales experience, preferably in the construction or building materials industry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with customers
- Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills to handle customer queries and concerns effectively
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and comfortable with using customer relationship management (CRM) tools
- Flexible and adaptable to changing customer needs and market conditions
- Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel within your assigned territory
