Job Description
We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Account Clerk to support the day-to-day accounting operations. The role focuses on bookkeeping tasks, financial record maintenance and assisting the Finance/Accounts Department to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform data entry and maintain accounting records (AP, AR, GL).
- Prepare and process payments, invoices and receipts.
- Update and monitor petty cash and daily cash flow records.
- Assist in preparing simple financial reports and summaries.
- Support with tax and SST documentation and submissions.
- Maintain proper filing and organization of accounting documents.
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents and banks when required.
- Perform ad hoc administrative or finance-related tasks as assigned by head of department.
Requirements:
- SPM / Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience (fresh graduates with internship experience are welcome to apply).
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and statutory requirements.
- Familiar with accounting software (SQL, UBS, Autocount, or similar) and MS Excel.
- Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to meet deadlines.
- Good team player with a willingness to learn.
