Overview
To oversee and coordinate daily warehouse and operational activities, ensuring efficient, accurate, and safe handling of goods, smooth delivery processes, and optional inventory management to support the company's business objectives.
Responsibilities
Warehouse Management
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking,packing, and dispatching goods.
- Ensure proper inventory control, including regular stock counts and reconciliation.
- Maintain accurate records of stock movements and warehouse transactions.
- Implement and monitor housekeeping standards to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Ensure goods are stored correctly to prevent damage and facilitate easy retrieval.
Logistics & Operations
- Coordinate delivery schedules and arrange transportation with internal or external logistics providers.
- Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery to customers or branches.
- Handle order processing and ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.
- Liaise with suppliers, vendors, and transporters to resolve delivery or shipment issues.
Process & System Improvement
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve warehouse and operational efficiency.
- Identify areas for process improvement and cost reduction within warehouse and logistics operations.
- Support system upgrades or implementation of warehouse management systems (WMS).
Team & Compliance
- Supervise warehouse staff and ensure compliance with safety and operational policies.
- Conduct on-the-job training for warehouse team members.
- Enforce occupational safety and health (OSH) standards and compliance with relevant regulations.
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports (e.g., stock levels, delivery performance).
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to warehouse and ogistics activities.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
