Teppanyaki Chef – Direct Operated Restaurant (DOR) Brands
We are looking for an experienced Teppanyaki Chef to lead kitchen operations under our Direct Operated Restaurant (DOR) concepts, featuring established food brands managed directly by the company. This role is ideal for chefs with hands-on Teppanyaki skills who enjoy working in a customer-facing, open kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook Teppanyaki dishes in an open kitchen setting
- Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet company standards
- Provide engaging and professional service to customers during live cooking
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of workstations and equipment
- Follow safety and food handling procedures strictly
- Assist in daily kitchen preparation, stock checks, and inventory control
- Support new outlet setups and training of new staff
Requirements
- Teppanyaki experience needed
- Comfortable working in a customer-facing open kitchen environment
- Passionate about the F&B industry
- Creative and open to experimenting with new ideas
- Self-motivated with strong leadership and teamwork skills
- Able to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced setting
Other Details:
- 6-day rotating shift (60–62 hrs/week) including weekends and PH
- Must be based in Singapore (no JB commute)
- Fluent in English (to communicate with team)
- Must be physically fit (long standing hours)
