Location : 4 Star Hotel based in Miri, Sarawark
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the kitchen team in preparing authentic Chinese cuisine.
- Plan and develop menus, including seasonal and specialty dishes.
- Ensure consistent food quality, presentation, and taste standards.
- Monitor inventory, order supplies, and manage food cost effectively.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff in cooking techniques, hygiene, and safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and compliance with food safety regulations.
- Work closely with management on kitchen operations and promotional events.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef specializing in Chinese cuisine.
- Strong knowledge of various Chinese cooking techniques and ingredients.
- Excellent leadership, organization, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and public holidays.
