Role Overview
We are representing a leading global provider of high-quality interior surfacing materials, currently seeking a Specification Executive (Junior/Senior) to join their Specification Sales team in the Central Region (Selangor/Kuala Lumpur). This role focuses on building strong networks with architects, interior designers, developers, and contractors to drive product specification in construction and design projects.
The ideal candidate is a proactive professional with strong project-based sales experience and a passion for engaging with the design and construction community.
Job Description
- Develop and maintain relationships with architects, interior designers, developers, and key specifiers to secure product specifications in project designs and documents.
- Manage project pipelines and ensure accurate tracking and updates in CRM systems.
- Collaborate with distributor partners to convert project specifications into successful sales orders.
- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and provide technical consultation to clients.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the design and construction market.
- Collect and analyze market intelligence, competitor activities, and project trends.
- Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to overall team KPIs.
- Participate in regular meetings and reporting activities with the sales management team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum 1–3 years of working experience in a Specification Sales, Project Sales, or B2B technical sales role.
- Experience in interior-related materials (laminate, wallpaper, flooring, etc.) will be a strong advantage.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Result-oriented, independent, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Must possess own vehicle and be willing to travel frequently for client visits and site meetings.
- A self-motivated, energetic, and proactive individual with a positive attitude.

Pay: Up to RM5,500.00 per month
