You'll be responsible for:Facultative Reinsurance Placement:

• Analyze and assess reinsurance needs for various insurance products within the organization.
• Develop and implement strategies for facultative reinsurance placements
• Liaise with reinsurance brokers and reinsurers to negotiate and secure optimal reinsurance terms.

Relationship Management:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with reinsurance partners, brokers, and internal stakeholders.
• Serve as a key point of contact for reinsurance inquiries and negotiations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of reinsurance solutions.

Reporting and Documentation:

• Prepare detailed reports and presentations on reinsurance placements and outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of reinsurance agreements and transactions.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on reinsurance performance analysis.

Continuous Learning and Development:

• Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks in the reinsurance sector.

Important to your success:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of general insurance products and principles.
• Demonstrated interest and commitment to learning and developing expertise in facultative reinsurance.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and negotiate with stakeholders.
• Proficient analytical skills for assessing risk and evaluating reinsurance options.
• Ability to leverage AI tools like ChatGPT for data analysis and generating actionable insights.
