Position Title: Sales Executive
Department: Sales & Marketing
Reports To: Sales & Marketing Manager/Deputy CEO/CEO
Employment Type: Permanent (EA Employee)
Salary Range: RM 2,800 – RM 3,800/month (Negotiable)
Location: MPMSB Headquarters, Cyberjaya, Selangor
1. Position Purpose
The Sales Executive is responsible for generating new business, managing client relationships, and achieving sales targets. The role focuses on driving revenue growth through proactive prospecting, solution-based selling, and effective pipeline management, in line with MPMSB’s business objectives.
2. Key Responsibilities
2.1 Sales Generation & Business Development
- Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities through cold calls, networking, and referrals.
- Present and promote MPMSB’s solutions to potential clients.
- Prepare and deliver proposals, quotations, and sales presentations.
2.2 Client Relationship Management
- Maintain and expand long-term relationships with existing customers.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, issues, and contract renewals.
- Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure high customer satisfaction.
2.3 Sales Operations
- Maintain an updated sales pipeline and CRM records.
- Negotiate terms and close deals in alignment with company policies.
- Work closely with the Marketing Executive to leverage campaigns for lead generation.
2.4 Market Intelligence
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
- Provide feedback to management for product/service improvements.
2.5 Reporting & Compliance
- Submit weekly and monthly sales reports to the Sales & Marketing Manager.
- Adhere to Section M of the HR Policy on workplace ethics and professional conduct.
3. Qualifications & Requirements
Education:
- Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, preferably in ICT, technology solutions, or related industries.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.
4. Working Conditions
- Office-based with frequent travel to client sites.
- Standard working hours (Monday – Friday) with flexibility for client meetings/events.
- Compliance with company policies, code of conduct, and confidentiality requirements.
