- Responsible to ensure that all information relating to a reservation is keyed correctly into OPERA and is of the highest quality, and errors are kept to an absolute minimum. This practice will allow the production of true and correct statistical information, which will in turn enhance the overall Hotel operation
- Process all reservation requests from customers.
- Provide clerical support to Front desk staff
- Change or cancel reservations at the request of customers in line with hotel policy.
- Receive reservation orders through phone, email or live chat
- Provide reservation services to guests and visitors in a hotel setting.
- Maintain and manage a log book for reservation activities.
- Ensure fulfilment of needs and requirements of guests who obtained prior reservations.
- To file in every correspondence received properly
- Maintains hotel’s policies and procedures at all times.
- Ensure comfort to guests and customers through reservation services.
- To answer/reply to Live Chat, take the reservation and circulate the inquiry to the department concern for them to reply back to guest.
- Develops and maintains office forms and procedures, and assists with administrative tasks.
- Answers central telephone system and directs calls accordingly.
- Receives the public and answers questions, in person and by telephone; responds to inquiries from employees, citizens and others and refers, when necessary, to the appropriate person, official or department.
- Prepares outgoing mail, sorts and distributes incoming mail.
- Composes types and edits correspondence, reports, memoranda and other material.
