Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and Bills of Quantities (BQ) for construction and development projects.
- Source and evaluate quotes from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing and quality.
- Draft and review tender documents, contracts, and project timelines to ensure all aspects are covered.
- Visit project sites regularly to check progress, verify completed work, and assist with claims and valuations.
- Handle interim valuations, progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts to keep projects on track.
- Monitor project costs and ensure everything stays within the approved budget.
- Work closely with internal teams, consultants, and contractors to resolve any issues related to cost or contracts.
- Offer cost-saving suggestions and value engineering ideas to improve efficiency and reduce project costs.
- Keep accurate records of all cost-related documentation and ensure everything is organized.
- Assist with post-project evaluations to help improve future planning and cost management processes.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in QS work
- Good knowledge of construction materials, contracts, and site operations.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and QS software (e.g., AutoCAD, CostX is a plus).
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision and meet tight deadlines.
- Willing to travel for site visits and meetings when required.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
