What you will do:
- Overall responsibility for the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closure of projects.
- Ensure the allocated gross margin (%GM) is achieved or improved by fully optimizing project resources.
- Project revenue and cost planning, including project scheduling.
- Organize project resources, including sub-contractor selection and evaluation.
- Identify and implement mitigation and contingency plans to prevent project derailment.
- Implement safety measures to ensure all work is conducted safely.
How you will do it:
- Prepare and submit shop drawings, construction drawings, and as-built drawings.
- Coordinate project procurement sourcing based on best price practices, liaising with clients, consultants, and main contractors.
- Resolve project-related issues, including technical and commercial matters based on the tender/project scope of work.
- Supervise project progress and manage timely project claims and cost controls.
- Develop project margin improvement plans and identify opportunities for value optimization.
- Conduct monthly project performance analyses with engineers to discuss progress and action plans.
- Promote continuous personal improvement through training and skill development for engineers.
What we look for:
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in project management within relevant industries.
- Strong communication skills to engage and present information effectively to clients, contractors, and internal teams.
