We're looking for a strategic and creative mind to join us as a Product Development Assistant Manager / Senior Executive.
In this role, you’ll lead the end-to-end development of new products and brands under popular household names and potentially create the next big name to be sold across international markets.

Key Responsibilities
- Gather the information through the existing numerical data, internet, market visit and casual consumer interview by online or offline.
- Make STP and competitive brand/product concept as the hypothesis utilizing 3C/SWOT framework.
- Verify the accuracy of the hypothesis by consumer research such as FGD/IDI including Quantitative Research with research agents.
- Analyze the result of survey and specify consumer insight to fix the final STP and concept.
- Explain the direction to all of related collaborators such as designer, ODM supplier or internal laboratory department in Japan or Indonesia to lead the formula, package design creation and COG/MOQ management.
- Evaluate the given formula sample to achieve the target function and confirm package design sample to give supplier collection to lead ideal color and printing.
- Conduct final research of CLT to verify whether the concept-materialized formula/package design/price could be really accepted by target consumers .
- Make and provide brand/product guideline to other divisions for consistent 4P marketing and execution.
- Sometimes visit overseas to gather seeds of idea, discuss with development partners/suppliers.
- Post-launching research after launch.
- For Assistant Manager, To improve the overall team capabilities by educating subordinates, and to lead team and gain the trust of other departments to advance business execution.
Key Requirements
- Any faculty can apply. Bachelor's/Professional Degree in Business Management, Marketing, STEM faculty or a related field is advantageous in terms of job description.
- Minimum of four (4) years of product planning and product development experience within FMCG companies. Experience in beauty and cosmetics is a plus.
- Required languages: English & Bahasa Malaysia. Knowledge of other languages is advantageous.
- Proficiency in computer skills, MS Office and consumer survey.
- A team player with a pleasant personality and strong interpersonal and communication skills to establish good working relationships with internal and external parties.
- Ability to thrive in a team environment while also having the capability to work independently.
- Creativity and commercial awareness, especially in the beauty, cosmetics, and personal care industries, both online and offline.
- Highly motivated, organized, and capable of prioritizing multiple tasks in a challenging and fast-paced working environment.

Pay: RM54,000.00 - RM84,000.00 per year
