We are looking for a full-time Marketing and Events Coordinator to join be part of the team in Penang. In this role, you will play a crucial part in generating revenue for the UAB Building and end-to-end event planning and execution. You will also support all Social Media content creation and postings.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Create compelling marketing content and collateral to promote events and initiatives across various channels
- Conduct sales calls to increase the customer base
- Coordinate and oversee the end-to-end planning and delivery of a diverse range of events, including conferences, workshops, networking sessions and community initiatives
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop innovative event concepts and marketing campaigns that align with the company's strategic objectives
- Monitor and analyse event performance, provide post-event reports and recommendations for continuous improvement and work together with Building Management to support the upkeep and maintenance of the building
- Liaise with key stakeholders, partners and the broader community to build strong relationships and identify new opportunities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree or Diploma or related disciplines
MINIMUM YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:
- At least 4 years of experience in event management or marketing, preferably within the events or community development industry
TYPE OF EXPERIENCE
- Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders
- Creative mindset and problem-solving skills to conceptualise and execute innovative event and marketing ideas
- Familiarity with marketing tools and platforms, including social media, email marketing and content creation
