Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategy & Planning
- Develop and execute a comprehensive digital marketing strategy for customer acquisition, engagement, and retention with a focus on international markets.
- Own the digital customer journey with emphasis on subscription lifecycle — acquisition, onboarding, retention, upsell, and win-back.
- Align digital campaigns with brand positioning, product launches, and country-specific nuances.
2. Digital Campaign Execution
- Plan, execute, and optimize multi-channel digital campaigns across paid search, social media, display advertising, email marketing, SEO/SEM, influencer marketing, and affiliate partnerships.
- Develop A/B testing strategies for creative, messaging, and offers to improve conversion rates and customer lifetime value (CLV).
- Work closely with creative teams to ensure digital assets reflect brand tone and messaging globally.
3. Subscription Funnel Optimization
- Manage and improve the end-to-end digital subscription funnel: lead generation, signup, onboarding, engagement, renewal, and churn management.
- Leverage CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization) techniques and tools (e.g., Google Optimize, Optimizely, Hotjar) to enhance user journeys.
- Coordinate with the product and UX teams to refine sign-up flows, landing pages, and payment gateways.
4. Analytics & Performance Monitoring
- Track and report performance metrics (CAC, LTV, ROAS, CTR, CR, retention rates) using tools such as Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly dashboards and insights reports for executive leadership.
- Analyze market trends and competitor performance to inform ongoing strategies.
5. International Marketing
- Tailor and localize digital marketing strategies for regional markets (e.g., SEA, EU, MENA, North America) considering language, culture, and legal requirements.
- Collaborate with regional sales and marketing teams to ensure cohesive brand execution globally.
- Manage global campaigns across time zones, ensuring compliance with local data privacy and advertising regulations (e.g., GDPR, PDPA).
6. Team & Vendor Management
- Lead and mentor a growing team of digital marketing specialists and regional marketers.
- Manage external vendors including ad agencies, SEO consultants, and localization partners.
- Set clear KPIs and goals for internal and external teams.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field.
- 3 years of digital marketing experience, experience in managing international campaigns will be an added advantage. with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Candidates with prior experience in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry will be highly preferred.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and growing digital marketing teams.
- Strong experience in managing external agencies and vendor relationships.
- Deep understanding of UK digital marketing landscape, platforms, and consumer behaviour.
- Demonstrated success in subscription-based business models (e.g., SaaS, DTC consumer products, e-commerce).
- Strong command of digital platforms (Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Klaviyo/Mailchimp, HubSpot).
- Experience with marketing automation, CRM integration, and lead nurturing workflows.
- Proficient in data analytics, funnel analysis, and using BI tools for insights-driven decisions.
- Deep understanding of customer acquisition cost (CAC), customer lifetime value (CLTV), MRR/ARR metrics.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business objectives into digital marketing tactics.
- Data-driven and performance-focused, with experience in budget management and ROI optimization.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; experience presenting to C-level executives.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced startup environments or high-growth companies.
- Strong project management skills with experience in Agile or Scrum methodologies.
- Multilingual proficiency is an advantage (especially in Mandarin, Malay & English for regional reach).
