Manager Global Operation Planning & Control (OPEX)

An excellent opportunity exists for Manager, Global Planning and Control (OPEX) to join our dynamic global team.

This role is to optimise planning and control by reviewing, analysing and interpreting Lynas global operation production and costs including maintenance.

He/ She also to improve the global integration of Mt Weld – Kalgoorlie – LAMP to optimize the production volume, the recovery, the products mix, and the operational cost, etc.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Assist in production planning of Light Rare Earths and Heavy Rare Earths products.
• LAMP operation analysis including data engineering and translating data into analysis report and discussion with Operation team
• LAMP Monthly Recovery Analysis.
• Cost control including providing support to and provide necessary data and information to operational management and Senior Manager, Planning & Control.
• Global Business forecasting and reporting by compiling data/information related to business activities and analyse that data for reporting.

Requirements for this programme:

• Degree holder of Engineering/ Chemical/ in Data Engineering/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computer Sc/ Software Engineering or related field.
• Production experience and Six Sigma methodologies knowledge would be added advantage.
• Strong understanding of OPEX management, financial modelling, and performance analysis.
• Strong leadership and advanced analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Proficient in Excel, Power BI (M, DAX), SQL, MS Project would be an advantage.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills to confidently interact with people of all cultures at all levels.
• Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English. Additional language will be an advantage.
• Must be willing to travel to Kuantan, Pahang, Malaysia.
