1. Site Safety Observation
- Assist in conducting daily and weekly site safety inspections.
- Identify and report unsafe acts or conditions to the Safety Officer.
2. Documentation & Filing
- Support the preparation and updating of safety-related documents such as Permit to Work (PTW), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and Toolbox Talk records.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing systems for all safety records.
3. Training & Awareness
- Assist in organizing safety briefings, toolbox meetings, and worker induction sessions.
- Distribute and monitor participation in safety training programs.
4. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Monitoring
- Assist in monitoring the usage of PPE at the worksite.
- Support in issuing PPE to workers and checking for compliance.
5. Incident Reporting Support
- Assist in gathering preliminary information for incident or near-miss reports.
- Take photographs, record statements, and document measurements under supervision.
6. Safety Signage & Housekeeping
- Help ensure appropriate safety signage is displayed and maintained at the site.
- Participate in weekly site housekeeping audits.
7. Learning & Development
- Attend safety committee meetings as an observer to gain industry insight.
- Learn and familiarize yourself with local safety regulations, including OSHA 1994 and FMA 1967.
Job Type: Internship
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: RM600.00 - RM800.00 per month
