Job Summary:
To support the Finance/Accounts team in day-to-day accounting tasks and assist in maintaining accurate financial records while gaining hands-on experience in accounting operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in data entry of invoices, receipts, and payments into the accounting system
- Help with account reconciliations (e.g., bank statements, supplier statements)
- Prepare supporting documents for audit and filing purposes
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
- Organize and maintain financial files and records
- Support the team in handling administrative finance-related tasks
- Perform other accounting or administrative duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a Degree in Accounting, Finance, Banking or a related field
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Willingness to learn and take initiative
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information
