Job Purpose:
- Fully responsible for managing and supervising the factory operations and site installation works, ensuring that all tasks are executed according to the plan, maintaining quality, cost, and timeline, as well as improving the efficiency of the production and installation teams.
Job Scope Factory Manager:
- Plan and manage the daily operations of the factory and site to ensure production and installation works run smoothly and according to the given schedule.
- Plan, set timelines, and organize site installation tasks based on project priority and progress.
- Conduct morning briefings before the installer team departs to site and review installation requirements.
- Identify any issues at the site (if any) and coordinate quick action with the project and QC teams.
- Review material usage and ensure there is no wastage during the fabrication and installation processes.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports for management regarding project status, current challenges, and team performance evaluation.
- Review and update fabrication and installation SOPs regularly to ensure processes remain relevant and efficient.
- Supervise the quality inspection of materials, finished products, and installation work to ensure compliance with design specifications and standards.
- Coordinate with the factory admin to ensure materials and tools are ready on time without disrupting operations.
- Prepare complete documentation and reports related to project progress, material usage, installer team attendance, and installation status.
- Ensure all factory machines and equipment are maintained regularly and are in good condition to prevent operational disruptions.
- Act as the main liaison between the factory and project teams, and coordinate with all related HODs to ensure smooth project execution.
- Communicate with suppliers or subcontractors in case of any issues involving special deliveries or external custom orders.
Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years of working experience in manufacturing or carpentry production management, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams including supervisors, admin staff, storekeepers, and installers.
- Strong leadership, planning, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Skilled in interpreting technical drawings, fabrication checklists, and installation schedules.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Experienced managing both factory operations and on-site installation projects.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace; able to prepare detailed reports and production schedules.

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM6,500.00 per month
