Job Purpose
To provide efficient customer service support in shipping and logistics operations, ensuring accurate documentation, timely communication, and smooth clearance of shipments at the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle import and export documentation for shipments (e.g., invoices, packing lists, BL, permits).
- Coordinate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and customs agents to ensure timely clearance.
- Verify documentation accuracy before submission.
- Maintain and update reporting trackers for shipments, delivery status, and customer updates.
- Respond to inquiries from customers, shipping partners, and internal teams in a professional manner.
- Follow up on pending shipments and resolve issues promptly.
- Support warehouse operations by aligning shipment details with operations team.
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations and company policies.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Shipping, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in shipping, forwarding, or warehouse customer service (preferred).
- Knowledge of import/export procedures and customs documentation.
- Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Proficient in MS Excel (basic formulas, reporting).
- Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work under pressure.
Employment Details
- Type: Full-Time / Contract / Outsource (depending on arrangement)
- Working Hours: Standard office hours (Mon–Fri), with flexibility during peak shipping periods.
- Salary Range: RM1,700 – RM2,000 / month (depending on experience).
