Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation and Brand Messaging
● Write and edit content for various platforms: blogs, eDMs, newsletters, websites, social media, landing pages, and offline collateral (e.g., flyers, brochures).
● Adapt tone and messaging to suit different brands, audiences, and formats.
● Develop persuasive, conversion-focused copy for marketing campaigns and brand storytelling.
● Ensure content maintains consistency with brand guidelines and voice.
Strategic Content Creation
● Assist in editorial/content creation aligned with campaign objectives and seasonal
opportunities.
● Collaborate with strategists, planners, and creatives to develop messaging frameworks and storytelling approaches.
Participate in content ideation and pitch development.
● Monitor industry trends and competitor content to inform content direction.
SEO and PPC Content
● Conduct keyword research and apply SEO best practices to drive organic visibility.
● Create SEO-optimised content including meta descriptions, headlines, and on-page elements.
● Write performance-oriented copy for paid media campaigns (e.g., Google Ads, Meta Ads), with a focus on clarity and conversion.
● Optimise landing page content to improve UX and drive campaign results.
Editing and Quality Assurance
● Review content written by other team members to ensure clarity, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.
● Refine and localise content based on client feedback or regional nuances.
● Maintain a high standard of editorial quality and attention to detail
Cross-Functional Collaboration
● Work closely with designers, strategists, and social media managers to create cohesive,
visually engaging, and high-impact content assets.
● Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas to campaign development.
● Provide guidance on tone, style, and structure to junior writers or freelancers if needed.
Requirements:
● Degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, English, or a related field.
● Minimum 2 years of experience in content writing, copywriting, or content marketing.
Skills
● Exceptional writing and editing abilities across multiple formats.
● Proficiency in SEO practices and keyword research tools (e.g., Google Keyword Planner,
SEMrush)
● Knowledge of PPC ad copywriting and digital ad platforms (Google Ads, Meta)
● Familiarity with analytics tools to measure content performance.
● Collaborative mindset with strong organisational and multitasking skills.
