We are looking for a Business Development Engineer/Executive (Sustainability), responsible for building and managing a sustainability solutions and products business line by introducing low-carbon service/products to the market and structuring solutions for existing and new customers. The right candidate is passionate about rolling up their sleeves to build a new business and helping customers solve their sustainability needs
Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in sustainability, environmental policy, climate change, environmental engineering, engineering, sciences or any related field.
- With or without experience. Training will be given.
- Strong analytical, communication (verbal and written), and problem-solving skills
- Strong interest and intellectual curiosity in engineering and environmental market mechanisms and sustainability
- Able to identifying customer needs and developing solutions
- Self-Motivated
- Entrepreneurial spirit
- Attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines
- Demonstrated interest and passion for helping customers solve sustainability needs
- Ability to look for growth opportunities for the company
- Motivated, upbeat, and positive team player who excels at performing in a collaborative and fast environment
- Willingness to travel
Responsibilities
- Develop a specific sustainability service portfolio, growth strategy, rollout plan and roadmap for customers and for internal sales team; Develop SOP for onboarding new solution offerings
- Proactively sell environmental products and services to prospects and provide critical feedback on what is valued and what changes.
- Lead on-site and off-site sales presentations to potential customers
- Monitor and identify sustainability trends and strategize how to incorporate them into the business.
- Anticipate market needs and propose alternative solutions when necessary.
- Seek and share knowledge of industry trends, competitors, etc
- Attend relevant industry conferences and events.
- Understand compliance and voluntary market requirements for environmental attributes.
- Support cross-selling of other sustainability and energy products.
- Other scope is determined by the supervisor.
