Key Responsibilities may include:
· Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements, user stories, and use cases.
· Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications.
· Conduct gap analysis to identify areas for process or system improvements.
· Define and map business processes, workflows, and use cases across insurance and claims functions.
· Recommend process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance efficiency.
· Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards.
· Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, product owners, developers, and QA teams.
· Facilitate workshops, requirements sessions, and UAT with cross-functional stakeholders.
· Build consensus and manage stakeholder expectations effectively.
· Leverage experience in claims (life, health, or general insurance) to assess business scenarios.
· Support the design and implementation of claims processing solutions.
· Provide domain expertise to ensure solutions align with industry best practices.
· Collaborate with project managers to define scope, timelines, and deliverables.
· Support functional testing, UAT, and validation of implemented solutions.
· Assist in training, documentation, and knowledge transfer to end-users.
Key Skills:
· 7–8 years in business/process analysis, with hands-on exposure to insurance and claims processes.
· Insurance & Claims processes (life, health, or general insurance), policy administration, claims lifecycle.
· Requirements elicitation, user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria, BRDs, FRDs.
· Business process modeling (BPMN), workflow analysis, process mapping, optimization.
· Ability to bridge business and IT; comfortable working with developers, architects, and QA teams.
· JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, Lucidchart, SQL (basic queries), Agile/Scrum, Waterfall.
· Strong communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, critical thinking, and documentation skills.
