JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Location: Pasir Gudang, Johor Bahru
- Industry: manufacturing ( 5 days/week)
- To be responsible for financial statement and maintain fixed assets register, including depreciation schedules and reconciliations.
- Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate audits and address audit queries effectively.
- To prepare tax returns (corporate tax, transfer pricing, withholding tax), perform accurate tax and deferred tax computation.
- Perform accurate tax and deferred tax computations and ensure compliance with the Income Tax Act
- Monitor and manage changes in tax legislation and provide updates to the management team
- Assist in implementing process improvements for financial reporting and tax compliance.
- Ensure proper documentation and internal controls related to accounting and taxation
- To liaise with external auditors
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Accounting. Professional certification ACCA or CPA.
- 10 years experience in accounting and finance preferably with manufacturing experience.
- Familiar with MPERs.
