Job Summary:
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Mid-Level Web Designer to join our corporate digital team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and maintaining engaging, user-friendly, and brand-consistent websites that align with business goals. You will work closely with marketing, development, and product teams to deliver high-quality digital experiences across web and mobile platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and maintain corporate websites, landing pages, and microsites in alignment with brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers, developers, and marketers to create responsive, intuitive, and visually appealing web experiences.
- Translate business requirements into functional, user-centric design solutions.
- Optimize designs for usability, accessibility, SEO, and performance.
- Ensure consistent brand messaging and visual style across all digital touchpoints.
- Conduct A/B testing, usability testing, and collect user feedback to iterate on designs.
- Maintain design systems and reusable web assets.
- Stay updated with the latest web design trends, tools, and best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, Multimedia, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in web design, ideally in a corporate or agency setting.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, Illustrator, Photoshop.
- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, responsive design, and basic knowledge of JavaScript.
- Experience designing within CMS platforms like WordPress, Drupal, Sitecore, or similar.
- Familiarity with corporate branding and design guidelines.
- Strong portfolio showcasing web design projects, including desktop and mobile interfaces.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with prototyping tools (e.g., InVision, Axure).
- Familiarity with web analytics and conversion optimization.
- Knowledge of accessibility (WCAG) and cross-browser compatibility standards.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: RM2,876.62 - RM5,575.74 per month
