Job Description:
Assist Warehouse Management in overseeing the designated division(s) in daily warehouse operations; (training will be provided in both operational tasks and documentation across all warehouse divisions for a period of 3 to 6 months):
- Oversee the Warehouse Operations in the designated division(s), to understand, lead, manage and organize to ensure orderly execution of day to day activities;
- Monitoring the work of division's subordinates, identify processes for improvement, and provide coaching, training to the team over the work;
- Motivating, organizing and encouraging teamwork within the workforce to ensure adherence to procedures and set productivity targets are met;
- Communicating with others 'internal customers' e.g. other division, responding to and dealing with customer communication by email and telephone;
- Ensure housekeeping of the division and department with focus on cleanliness and safety aspects;
- Be responsible for inventory management; conduct regular cycle counts and timely verification of inventory movement records to control warehouse inventory levels and maintain high inventory accuracy to support the audit team;
- Maintaining good customer service with internal and external customers and vendors;
- Maintaining standards of health and safety, hygiene and security in the work environment; to perform housekeeping and ensure operation area's cleanliness;
- Other duties as and when assigned by the Warehouse Assistant Manager.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma or any equivalent qualification related to Logistic & Warehousing;
- Proficient in both Bahasa Malaysia & English (written & spoken);
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office), warehouse system & RFID system;
- Ability to efficiently coordinate workings with internal and external workers of the Company;
- Ability to efficiently manage time and meet all deadlines;
- Ability to follow our cultures and work towards Company vision, mission and core values;
- Willingness to work long hours, including weekends and public holidays;
- Ability to work independently and in a team;
- Experience operating machinery (e.g. forklift/lift truck) is an advantage;
- Capable of lifting cartons weighing not less than 10.00kg.
