Job Description:
Responsible to assist the Warehouse Manager to oversee in all day to day warehouse and distribution activities; in organizing, planning and implementing strategies and productivity standards. Lead meetings, manage and evaluate daily reports, and develop standard operating procedures for the warehouse for all divisions.
- Oversee the warehouse, to lead, manage and organize Warehouse's division in the department to ensure orderly execution of day to day activities;
- Monitoring of division's subordinates, train and coach the team over the work;
- Motivation, organizing and encouraging teamwork within the workforce to ensure set productivity targets are meet;
- Communicating with others 'internal customers' e.g. other division, responding to and dealing with customer communication by email and telephone;
- Be responsible for inventory management; conduct regular cycle counts and timely verification of inventory movement records to control warehouse inventory levels and maintain high inventory accuracy to support the audit team;
- Ensure housekeeping of the division and department with focus on cleanliness and safety aspects;
- Maintaining good customer service with internal and external customers and vendors;
- Maintaining standards of health and safety, hygiene and security in the work environment;
- Other duties as and when assigned by the Warehouse Manager.
Job Requirements:
- Degree or any equivalent qualification related to Logistic & Warehousing;
- Good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills;
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office), warehouse system & RFID system;
- Ability to efficiently coordinate workings with internal and external workers of the Company;
- Ability to efficiently manage time and meet all deadlines;
- Ability to follow our cultures and work towards Company vision, mission and core values;
- Willingness to work long hours, including weekends and public holidays;
- Ability to work independently and in a team;
- Experience operating machinery (e.g. forklift/lift truck) is an advantage;
- Capable of lifting cartons weighing not less than 10.00kg.
